Why is Anil's family miffed with Aamir ?

Aamir Khan, who has performed an item number titled I Hate You for his latest home production Delhi Belly, says its time for “item boys” to rock Bollywood.

Aamir, who will be seen in a retro look says It is a tribute to the disco era of 1980s. My hair-do is inspired by Amitabhji and I sport chest hair, just like Anilji. The dance moves are similar to Mithunda and Govinda. And my attire will be a mix of everyone,” he said.

A spoof on Bollywood legends, in an item number for 'Delhi Belly,' has not gone well with some.

Highly placed sources in B -Town reveal that actor Anil Kapoor’s family is fuming ever since they saw the hairy act in the funny item number from ‘Delhi Belly,’ for they feel it's a satire on the internationally acclaimed actor.

“The hair on my chest in the item song, is what I have adopted from Anil Kapoor,” said Aamir during a media interaction last night. Though Aamir, in the media interaction, said that he had taken some bits from all the stars, who rocked in the period of 80s and 90s, but taking an inspiration that of a hairy chest from a renowned actor like Anil Kapoor has hurt his close ones, as per the sources. After the media began playing Aamir’s interaction on television, some close ones of the actor found the thought offensive.

“Though it is a satire, but you can’t demean an actor of Anil’s calibre, it is in a bad taste,” says a source close to Kapoor.

“The hairstyle is inspired from Amitji, dancing steps from Govinda, Rishi Kapoor and Mithun da, and of course- the hair on the chest from Anil Kapoor, who is one of the finest actors. It is a tribute to all the stars from the era of 80s and 90s," Aamir added candidly in the media interaction that reportedly left the Kapoors fuming. Well, we can only request the Kapoor clan to take a chill-pill for now.

The hilarious item song, 'I hate u, love u, tere pyaar mein dewaana' in which Khan has taken references from the actors of the 80s and 90s era, with Aamir dressed in an Elvis Presley avatar, is found pulling a satire on Mithun Da and others too, leave along Anil.
